Artwork: Barramundi Hunting
Artwork Description-The Barramundi was originally traditionally hunted by Aboriginal (The Bama) People both at Rivers and lagoons and Sea.
Indigenous art is centred on story telling. It is used in the dreamtime to carry on knowledge of the land and sea, events and beliefs of the Aboriginal people. The use of symbols is an alternate way to writing down stories of cultural significance, teaching survival and use of the land.
